Rob is an experienced accountancy professional with expertise in a range of accountancy and advisory services, including:
- Helping clients with product pricing strategies, focused on profitability
- Management reporting and reporting set up
- Business advisory
He specialises in supporting both SME’s and start ups to ensure they have the right accountancy support and financial systems in place as part of their business and growth plan. He also works closely with our clients to ensure business owner-managers, directors, and management teams have the right data and information needed to inform their decisions and succeed.
In addition to advising and supporting clients, Rob is our Head of Operations and part of the Hayward Wright leadership team, overseeing all operational aspects of the firm across all office locations. He is also involved in supporting the process of identifying and embedding new acquisitions into the group.
Experience
Rob has more than 20 years of experience in the accountancy industry and prior to setting up Wharfside Accountancy – which joined Hayward Wright in 2025 – he worked in both small and large practices, including being part of a team for a large national multi-site firm. He has also been part of the operational management team at a top 30 accountancy firm.
Personal Background
Outside of work, Rob loves spending time watching football and supporting Aston Villa and enjoys playing golf. He also spends a lot of time with his young family.
