The programme has been designed with support from leading HR consultancy, Danton HR, and is delivered in a modular fashion and in parallel to technical skills development/qualifications.
Every team member gets access to this exciting programme as part of their ongoing training and development support.
Chloe's Story
From apprentice to director
Chloe Blackwell is one of our directors at Hayward Wright and joined the team in 2013 and has progressed from an apprentice accountant to a key member of the leadership team in that time.
Chloe initially studied AAT and then moved on to an ACCA qualification before gaining her practicing certificate and being promoted to Director at the age of 27. Today, she manages a large portfolio of 300+ clients across a wide range of sectors providing both hands-on advice and strategic guidance and support. In addition to her client responsibilities, Chloe also leads our approach to personal development and training, onboarding, and staff retention and supports the ongoing management of the firm’s operating model. Chloe was recognised for her achievements in 2024 winning the ‘Young Leader’ award at the TheBusinessDesk.com’s West Midlands Leadership Awards.
In addition to her own achievements as a young leader, Chloe has also invested a lot of her time in helping others to succeed and progress in their careers as well as supporting the wider community. She has built strong relationships with a range of local schools and colleges to help them identify skills and knowledge gaps and delivers mock interview sessions, attends career fairs, and works with those looking for work experience. As part of her commitment to supporting those in education and the wider community, Chloe is on the Worcestershire Local Skills Improvement Plan board with the Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce.
