Accountancy and advisory group, Hayward Wright, held its fourth consecutive annual charity golf day last week in partnership with Brake, the UK’s leading road safety charity, dedicated to preventing road deaths and serious injuries while supporting those affected by road crashes.
The all-day event at Ladbrook Golf Club brought together more than 100 people from organisations across the Midlands region, raising £8,865 for the charity.
The Hayward Wright team organised a range of fundraising initiatives throughout the day, including a “beat the pro” challenge, a putting competition, and a raffle during the evening BBQ and networking.
The event was supported by a range of sponsors including Stephen Alexander, Blackstar Mortgages, Arrow Services, Aztec Adventure, Capital & Trust, HCR, Rathbones, and Taurus Collections.
Guests enjoyed a day of networking and golf, which began with an opening address by Hayward Wright’s Director, Alistair Hayward-Wright, followed by a presentation from Aidan Gilmartin, National Road Victim Service Caseworker (West Midlands) from Brake, and after the golf, more networking and a BBQ on the club’s terrace.
